Using alternative technology and touch screen devices, Able orchestra mix traditional instrumentation with the electronic and virtual.  For a number of years, Able Orchestra have established themselves as a truely inclusive performance collective, building live experiences from the ground up.  Working with Si Tew, Ronika and Urban Projections, the group have sampled, scored, chopped, remixed, recorded and performed audio-visual pieces throughout the UK, including the BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall.  They have collaborated with The Hallé, BBC Concert and BBC Philharmonic Orchestras, 4 times world DJ champion Mr Switch and internationally renowned beatboxer The Petebox.

Able Orchestra continues to provide oppotunites for musicians of all abilities to collaborate, perform and share learning practice.
