In a Collaborative weeks residency with the Able Orchestra,  Sinfonia Viva and Portland College,  an immersive performance environment was created, inspired by the incredible Papplewick Pumping Station.  Papplewick is a Victorian steam-powered pumping station, from which field recordings and imagery was captured.   In an inclusive performance powered by Control One midi controllers, both the audio and visual were triggered live, to form a 360 degree stage, set across a 10m LED array.  The lighting drew influence from the enormous pumping mechanism and their push/pull action.  This was mirrored through the space, between the two groups of performers.

The piece was then returned to the depths of the underground reservoir at Papplewick, and filmed in the enormous chasm which was once filled with water.
