WORK
In collaboration with contemporary British artist Mat Collishaw, Urban Projections created a striking 4D installation for the launch of the Jimmy Choo Vices Collection at One Mayfair. Inspired by the shimmering beauty of Mexico’s Naica crystal caves, the immersive environment transformed the venue into a surreal landscape of towering crystal formations, refracted light, and cinematic atmosphere.
At the core of the installation was a detailed video-mapping process that layered glowing light passes, shifting shadows, and pulsing highlights across sculptural crystal structures. Footage of urban scenes - tower blocks, rainfall, and moving traffic - was seamlessly embedded into the visuals, adding a contemporary, metropolitan edge. The result was a constantly evolving lightscape where beams of refracted colour and shadow danced across jagged surfaces, creating an experience that felt both natural and otherworldly.
Guests were invited to dine within this crystalline world, surrounded by immersive light and sculptural form. A bespoke menu by Michelin-starred chef Mark Hix added to the sensory impact, turning the space into a living set where fashion, food, and digital art converged.
This collaboration between Urban Projections and Mat Collishaw reimagined the launch event as a fully immersive environment - one that reflected the sharp elegance and bold spirit of Jimmy Choo’s Vices Collection.
