In a re-imagining of the iconic ITV visual identity, Urban Projections & Thomas Wolski created a series of twelve, 30 second idents, for Pride month 2021. The Idents were shown every day throughout the month of July on the ITV network, reaching +4 million viewers per day.
The piece mixed intricate monochrome illustrations with swathes of colour and light, and was realised through digital projection mapping techniques. The basis for the fine-art illustrations was iconography from the LGBTQ+ community, creating a story of visible pride and strength in community.
Filming took place over two days in Manchester, working from the studio and on location for the build of the Ident itself.
